Already Missed a Day

Well World, I did not post yesterday.  I meant to, but started off reading the newspaper...and...you know how it is.  Anyhoo, Easter Sunday was nice, dinner with family and friends. Before that though, I cleaned up my potting bench in the backyard and moved it to another part of the yard so that we could have breathing room under the patio.  Yay!  Now I have space to take my easel outside and do some painting out in the fresh air and nature.

Good Mornin' World

Today is the first day of blogging.  Actually I decided to blog everyday in lieu of writing in my journal which nobody sees and nobody cares about.  I am just self centered enough  to actually believe that "people" would want to know my thoughts...or at least some people would.

So my thought is to get in here everyday, do a sentence or a paragraph or so and then get on with my day.  I have asked Jack to cancel the newspaper so that I won't sit with it each morning and waste my time reading about the daily disasters on the planet.  After all we do watch the 5 o'clock news every evening and isn't that enough?  

Ok, so onward and upward...doing a painting today.  I am just going to look around my house, find objects that make up a story I wish to put down on canvas and will get to work.  Oils are smelling up my space, and so my addiction makes me want to add to that aroma.  Oils here I come...he, he, he!
